Although I'm currently unattached and thus the appeal to buy the book is severely limited for me, I must comment just to let you know how much this post made me laugh. (Which was a lot!)

I think I'll hold out until someone re-binds it with a journal.

Better husbands buy Bibles than new flat screen tvs everytime there is an upgrade. The wives who are unhappy with thier husband's Bible purchases, should count thier blessings!

What would really be cool is if somebody would rebind this with blank pages interleaved, so I can have lots of space to take notes. Loved the post -- most definitely hilarious.

My wife reads this blog and enjoys it as much as I do. In fact, rather than steering me from away from temptation toward the Bibles reviewed here, she often asks "Does that look like something you'd like?" For that support alone the least I can do is buy her a copy of "Beguiled."

Congratulations on the publication of this book and the upcoming publication of "Back on Murder."

My wife doesn't hate this site so much as tolerate me looking at 'Bible porn.'

That would change if I spent $100 on a Bible citing 'goatskin leather' and 'flexibility' as apparently good reasons.

Bought it today at Boarders for my lovely wife to read
