Mmm... there is just something about the smell of a new leather bound Bible...

Nice handwriting, Mark. If I had writing like yours, I might be tempted to write notes in my Bible... almost tempted. :)

I bought a load of these journals in their annual sale last year. I was shocked at the prices. I used calendars from Graphic Image beginning in 1994 until I was finally dragged into the computer age just last year (once I learned how to sync phone, pads, and computer calendars -- I had to make the switch). I still miss the excuse to purchase their fine calendars!

Chrysostom here (probably will display name as something else):

"Stationary" is the property of being at rest. "Stationery" is something rich men write on.

Fixed. Thanks for the catch, Chrysostom. In my defense, I went there several times and it was always in the same place.

The sale must be off. I selected the 8" hardback and it was like $63

Actually, today is the final day of the sale, and they're offering an additional 29% and free shipping on orders above $100. The 9" hardback pictured above, for example, lists for $33 and goes down to $23.43 in the shopping cart. Just make sure you're in the sale section. Here's a direct link:

I used the direct link and it is $97. Do you have to have an acount with them?

Leather Journals

Those are absolutely gorgeous. I really love the gilded pages!
